Holidays are finally here! ^.^
Remember on the last day of school, everyone was carrying loads of books and files back home.
Even saw some people carrying boxes! :D
Geog was the last period of the day, and everyone was looking at the clock at the last minute and some went "Summer...Summer..."like that in HSM. >.<
Then the bell rang and the teacher was still teaching. So, we waited.
When he finally went out, they rewinded the clock to exactly 1.39pm.
Then they started saying "Summer" again. Finally it was "1.40"pm then they shouted "What time is it!?" and went crazy.
It was kinda funny to see and I think that everyone was too stressed with school that they sort of lost their minds when the holidays begun. Lol...
Have lots of homework and i will try to finish it earlier like in 1 or 2 weeks. So i don't have to worry about it.
Hopefully i will be able to do some revision. O___O

yay! holidays are coming NEAR!
ok... >.<
CCA today was super slack...like always.
me and my 2 other seniors were like going HYPER and XIAO.
cos the coach was focusing on the violin 1 and we had nothing to do, they started gossiping and cracking all the funny and stupid jokes. :D
anyway, have to clear my table by tomorrow. Arghhhh.
under my table had a humongous pile of stuff and i cleared half today making my bag super heavy. :(
don't plan to bring everything back. can leave all the magazines and home ec and art stuff in school. but still, i have so many TB!!!! like every subject...
hope i can lug everything back tomorrow.
listening to JJ's KO now. he is like beatboxing.
ok, i was just being random.

attended another enrichment: introduction to media literacy on 20th and 21st.
it was quite interesting as we learnt to analyse different kinds of media like advertisements, comics and videos.
went to ngee ann poly on 20th and visited their mass com and other similar facilities. very nice. :D
watched a lot of funny videos and enjoyed myself.
ok, there is nothing much now... so i shall sign off!
p.s learnt to analyse how one advertisement may be contradicting like: promoting lenghtening of asian lashes but using a spanish actress as the model.
and how and advertisement can be quite insulting like: saying that NATURAL make up can bring out the REAL YOU, BUT BETTER. :(
anyway, lots were learnt apart from this!

attended the enrichment today.
Understanding respectfulness to Jap and krean culture.
on the whole, i felt that it was quite interesting especially the part on korean culture. (guess cos i was more interested in that. :D)ate lots of different types of cultural food like kimchi [korean] (love it!), notta [Jap] (hate it...)and other tibits which are all delicious!
then learnt about the odd habits of these cultures, the interesting facts and their practices like bowing, etc...
learnt quite a lot from this half day enrichment.
1) differences and similarities between Jap, korean and chinese cultures
2) tasted different kinds of food
3) clarified my doubts and queries on the culture.
4) learnt loads of facts and interesting points on jap and korean culture
5) had fun! :D
looking forward to the no-school day tomorrow to public holiday on monday. :D
then it will be the next enrichment for 2 days - Media Literacy

In the imac lab in school now.
its music and there is no teacher in the class yet. everyone is surfing the net and i have nothing to do. >.<
Enrichment is this thursday and friday and part of next week.
for type 1, i got into Understanding Korean and Japanese culture. :D
then for type 2, i got into media literacy.
they are not my first choices but i think they are ok lah cos quite a few people from my class got into the same program. so i guess it will be fun!
plus there is no school on days where there is no enrichment. YAY! and we don't have to wake up so early. :p
then there is a few more days then JUNE HOLS!!!
looking forward to it. cos i dun think i have to go back to school that much.
ok, someone needs the com so i shall sign off!

WE FINALLY COULD IMPORT THE SONG FROM OUR MP3 TO GARAGE BAND! Lol...

it was so simple, just drag the file onto the program. >.<

but we tried it so many times before also cannot what. anyway...

we sang so horribly and slowly that we couldn't find a beat to go with our singing. :0(can't blame us for our singing... :p)

intro to the song was so nice!!!!! and i really mean it.

but when we started singing, DISASTER began. :(

drew on the CD for the design. it turned out nice! Yippee!!

Yay! Got 35.5/40 for the latest lang arts test! HAHA! i am kinda pleased. cos i IMPROVED. although not sure by how much exactly. hightst in class was 36. o__o. and i am PISSED!:D *ahem*

anyway, next test in line is maths. ALGEBRA!!!!

now the deadline is really drawing near. but we can't import the songs from MP3s to the Garage Band! arghhh...
heard 翅膀 on the radio today after school. :D
recently, many Fahrenheit and JJ songs on the radio. it seems more than last time. (or maybe cos i was paying attention, not sleeping.) =.=
my iPod is like disfunctioning... sadly. now i listen to the music on my phone which is like random chinese pop singers.
or sometimes, when using the com, will listen to music also.
Lol... this is all about music.
2.4km was ok... (which i took last week) anyway i only needed a pass since i will only be getting bronze... BECAUSE OF MY SIT-UPS!
nvm, shall just train hard for next year.
talking about training hard, i think that i have been SUPER lazy recently. haha.

MPP was such a mess and a rush. initially we thought that the deadline was in mid may, so we planned out the timeline that will allow us to complete the project by mid may. who knows, suddenly the deadline became like 2 may.

so we rushed through the end product which is like a song. 3 days for recess, we were racking our brains for the melody. :( with not much progress unfortunately. than we decided we had to meet up during labour day.

we went to luo shuang's house and thought of the remaining chorus and pre chorus. then when everyone arrived, we started learning the song and recording it. meanwhile, while the rest of the team were recording their individual parts, me and luo shuang decided to work on the rap. we thought of a rhythm and recorded it before BENA HEE finally learnt how to sing her verse... =.=

but i think that the rap sounds the most horrible among the whole song. oops.

all of us had our own individual parts which was kind of scary.

but on the whole, i think that it still turned out ok.

then we went down to take pics for the booklet. it was so hot and we were like jumping and posing under the hot sun with jackets! Arghhh... almost thought we would get heatstroke. anyway, took many ridiculous photos over and over again, not as if we could look nice like real bands anyway. but when we finally found one that we were ok with, bena was complaining and whining and we decided to call it a day and went for lunch at 3pm.

ate pizza hut. when all of us finished 2 slices, bena had not even eaten her first! we were SURPRISED.

after that, we went home.

now we have the report and the addition of the drums and special effects to the song which we are going to do tomorrow cos we need garage band.

well this is a fun project on the whole. cos we learnt a lot of stuff. felt especially accomplished when we finished the song. never had we known that we would be able to do that (even after wrecking our brains until i think we went xiao). i think we would feel happier when we have completed the whole "album". :D

at least hope we can ask for extension. :p (for the report) Lol. will post pics we took soon.

ok, i shall sign off!

P.S all of us look CRAZY.
