DAY 2
Art exhibition + shopping was all we did today.
Not fair! me and my friends all wore skirts and dresses while the others just wore t-shirt and jeans. :(
the teache had told us to wear formally cos the Japanese will be very nicely dressed.
they were severly underdressed in the end though.
their opening ceremony was super formal.
then we proceeded to view all the art pieces. both from us and the Japanese artists which i reckon were about 3 times our age. :p
and YAY!!!!
I WON THE NEW SHAN ART AWARD!!! Lol.
it is given to the top 20 art pieces in the exhibition! Haha!!!
can't really believe though...
i painted a pomegranade and my teacher titled it "fruit".
anyway... we went shopping after that and of course i changed my skirt to jeans b4 setting of with the group of 84 people.
dinner was buffet style of steamboat.
we are really eating a lot! buffet after buffet...
after that, we went shopping again. realised that some stuff in japan are actually much cheaper than Singapore.
walked back to the hotel ourselves (of couese with a few other friends and their families). and...it sarted raining... =.=
we had no umbrellas and could not really find the way. so we ended up walking in the rain for about 1/2 hour...
